行政院長江宜樺17日受邀至三三會演講，吸引許多企業大老闆出席聆聽，遠東集團董事長徐旭東則在演講結束當面表示，要送給江院長3個字，即Communication、Coordination、及Command，希望政府加強政策溝通、部會協調及明確命令，才能使施政效率更好。對此，江宜樺則回應，「對於這3個層面，我虛心接受你的指教」。
江宜樺17日以「政府突破台灣經濟困境的對策」為題，在三三會發表專題演講，並在演講結束後開放企業大老提問。到場聆聽的徐旭東一開始先大力稱讚江宜樺近期表現。他說，相信近期院長受到各種壓力，但你的表現很不錯，看起來很好，他還要大家給江宜樺樺鼓掌。
不過，徐旭東隨後也表示，要送給江宜樺3個字，即Communication、Coordination、及Command，希望政府重視政策溝通，對民眾傳達清楚資訊，並加強部會間協調，避免口徑不一，同時，給予明確命令，即該怎麼決定，就怎麼決定。
徐旭東還以英文直接問江宜樺說，「what do you want us to do?」(你希望我們做些什麼？)，表達企業願意力挺政府的立場。他還表示，聽完演講後，對江宜樺有更大的信心。
對於徐旭東的建言，江宜樺也回應，在這3個層面，「我虛心接受你的指教」，政府在政策宣傳上，確實有進步空間，各部會間的溝通也不盡人意，將盡力改善。
江宜樺還說，「我不敢對企業有太多要求」，只有小小請求，希望企業能發聲，但不是替政府發聲，只是發聲，因為台灣社會充滿太多民粹式的「理盲濫情」之聲，希望企業界能站出來闡述正確、理性意見，把認為正確的道理講出來。
江宜樺也表示，希望企業對政府提出更多建言，雖然不是所有建言都會獲得回覆，但做得到的，他一定會做，不能做的他會說明，尤其在法規鬆綁、行政效率等方面，這些都是政府可以改善的部分。
