Marc Jacobs將辭去LV創意總監

成功帶領路易威登（Louis Vuitton）從行李箱品牌走向全球時尚名牌的設計師雅可布（Marc Jacobs）確定辭去路易威登創意總監職位，專注在個人品牌的未來發展。

50歲的雅可布將在年底合約到期時，結束16年來在路易威登的工作。路易威登集團執行長阿諾特（Bernard Arnault）在接受時尚雜誌WWD專訪時透露這項消息。不過，該集團尚未宣布雅可布的接班人選。

在雅可布16年來的領導下，路易威登逐漸成為時尚界趨之若鶩的頂級名牌，尤其在亞洲，LV旋風經常吸引民眾在店門外大排長龍。

「Marc Jacobs」品牌是由雅可布、他的事業夥伴與路易威登集團共同擁有，這三方已準備三年內讓該品牌上市，估計市值上看數十億美元。

雅可布在1986年首度推出個人品牌系列，並在2001年成立「Marc by Marc Jacobs」副牌。
