台南大學教職員所成立的單車社，過年前發起寒冬送暖的活動，募集到30部全新的捷安特腳踏車贈送給南台南家扶中心所扶助的經濟弱勢家庭，讓家扶兒在過年前收到這份大禮。

台南大學黃秀霜校長出席捐贈活動也期勉領到腳踏車的學子們百尺竿頭，更進一步，但也要知足感恩，未來要回饋社會。

單車社李國華教授表示，在環島的過程中，有感於東部孩子熱情的加油打氣，回到台南後一直在想這群經濟弱勢的孩子何以能夠這樣純真熱情，他們如何幫助這群弱勢的孩子，因為知道南台南家扶中心幫助許多經濟弱勢家庭，所以才與南台南家扶中心合作，將集結群力募集到的30部全新腳踏車贈送給家扶兒。

南台南家扶主任劉淑惠表示，在一片喜氣迎接新年的氛圍中，許多經濟弱勢家庭的家長卻滿懷憂心，對家長而言，過年除了增加開銷外，年後馬上又得面臨孩子的註冊問題，簡直是一個頭兩個大，有許多家庭更因為經濟因素無法給孩子添購腳踏車，孩子必須自己走路上學，多虧台南大學教職員的捐贈，讓這些弱勢家庭可以減少開銷。
