鹵素燈能否在實驗中替代陽光?

由於鹵素燈泡需要工作在更高的溫度下，普通玻璃外殼在此溫度下會熔化併產生流動，所以熔凝石英玻璃代替普通玻璃應用在了鹵素燈泡中，由於普通玻璃可以隔斷紫外光，但石英玻璃不能，所以鹵素燈泡會發射出具有紫外光波段的不可見光。一方面要對燈泡增加防護措施以減少紫外線的輻射，另一方面，紫外燈也被用來治療某些皮膚疾病或在室內就可得到在陽光下暴晒才能得到的古銅色皮膚。
