教育部長蔣偉寧：將頒終身成就獎給徐生明

【王翊亘／台北報導】教育部長蔣偉寧，於下午5點至徐生明靈堂弔唁並未問親屬，蔣偉寧說，徐生明生前對棒壇貢獻良多，因此將請總統追頒褒揚令，並在年底的體壇菁英獎頒發終身成就獎給徐生明，感謝其一生對於棒球運動的貢獻。
 
蔣偉寧認為，徐生明一生奉獻給棒球，並對於台灣的棒球發展有諸多期待，教育部一定會繼續努力的推廣棒球，並使其發展健全。
